Health related behaviours

Module Overview

Originated by: Dr Krista Rothschild

Health related behaviours are the response of the person, system or organism to various stimuli or inputs, whether internal or external, conscious or subconscious, overt or covert, and voluntary or involuntary.

This module looks at health psychology (we also offer a module called Health Psychology) and the behaviours associated with health and ill-health.

We will explore

  • How does our health affect our behaviour?
  • There are many different healthcare models for looking at health psychology
  • Different ways of seeing ill-health and its treatment
  • Beware of believing everything you read about an illness on the internet!

We are continously working to improve and update our material to ensure it is meeting the needs of students and teachers alike.

Please contact us for more information or to discuss your school requirements (+44) 1562 730696

All modules are delivered to you via email through a downloadable link.

Our programmes include a range of learning materials to support both teachers and students in the classroom. Content wise, each module is different but some components are common to all to provide assessment tools for teachers and familiar references for students.

This module includes

  • Lesson plan
  • PowerPoint presentations
  • Observation of thoughts
  • Teacher assessment
  • Class activity

We believe that some topics are approached more powerfully by bringing in animation. That is why some of the topics have videos to illustrate the learning points
