Morning ‘Boost’ sessions

With more schools now offering morning pre-school sessions we are now offering our morning ‘Boost’ sessions to support school with this new requirement. We are able to offer a wide range of subjects improving mental wellbeing and mental health awareness. These activities are delivered in person by our trained facilitators at school during the early morning, before school begins.

The types of activities delivered to pupils are varied, based on parent / teacher suggestions and recommendations.

The activities included involve a range of:

  • Questionnaires / quizzes – these can be used for self-assessment of risk, as well as a choice of therapeutic activity
  • Cartoon style case studies
  • Mindfulness small group tasks, based around guided focusing
  • CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy) activities – diaries, thought capture and questioning assumptions
  • 3 minute breathing space exercises  (e.g. grounding ourselves using the breath)
