Attitudes and persuasion

Module Overview

Originated by: Dr Jana Krivec

This module focuses on the broad topics of curiosity, knowledge and creativity and asks students to think about how their attitude to a situation drives their judgment and decision making. It prompts personal and group enquiry into different situations and asks students to look at how they come to decisions and actions.

We will explore

  • Using curiosity as a way of gaining knowledge
  • How we use our stored knowledge to influence thinking
  • Looking at different options using imagination and knowledge
  • How different thinking achieves different results
  • Opportunities for different thinking

We believe that some topics are approached more powerfully by bringing in animation. That is why some of the topics have videos to illustrate the learning points
