Career education describes a process by which individuals come to learn about themselves, their careers and the world of work. To inform career choices, learners often undertake career assessments. These are tests that come in a variety of forms and rely on both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Career assessments can help individuals identify and better articulate their unique interests, personality, values, and skills to determine how well they may match with a certain career.
This module looks at stimulating the children’s awareness of jobs and careers, and of the need to make options in the future. It gives them suggestions on how to organize the children’s perceptions of the world of work.
