Module Overview
Originated by Prof. Judith Steigmuller
We all want our children to be happy and we send our children to school hoping that they will have an emotionally enriching and balanced day. Educators and researchers alike are now realising that connecting wellbeing to learning is an important influencer on a child’s development. Now science is backing up that intuition. This module looks at what happiness is, the characteristics of happy people, and where ‘happiness’ sits in the brain. It engages children to look at their own happiness levels and how to enhance them for a more fulfilling life.
