Healthy minds packages for schools

Our objective is to provide a whole school approach for ensuring that mental health and wellbeing becomes central to the way schools work, in providing resources and educational programs to enable pupils to become emotionally-resilient and mentally healthy.

Schools often utilise our resources through a lesson-a-week structured program, which connects the pieces of personal, social and health education, emotional literacy, social skills and spiritual development. The healthy mind package is created around pupils expressing their feelings, building their confidence and emotional resilience and therefore their capacity to learn.

NeuroHeadway offers a range of services to help students develop positive mental health and wellbeing and supporting those experiencing mental health issues.

Our educational program considerations are:

  • To help children understand their emotions and feelings
  • Help children feel comfortable, sharing any concerns or worries
  • Help children socially to form and maintain relationships
  • Promote self-esteem and ensure children know that they count
  • Encourage children to be confident and dare to be different
  • Help children to develop emotional resilience and to manage setbacks
