Social influence occurs when a pupils emotions, opinions, or behaviors are affected by others. It takes many forms and can be seen in conformity, socialization, peer pressure, obedience, leadership, persuasion, sales, and marketing.

In this module, we will look at the following areas: Identification, minority Influence, obedience, persuasion

We will explore

  • Influence
  • Positional power
  • Keep the bigger picture in mind
  • Finding common ground with other children in the classroom
  • Reciprocity
  • Emotional state of others
