Intimidation

Module Overview

Originated by: Dr Eduardo Santos

Intimidation is intentional behaviour that ‘would cause a person to fear injury or harm.’

Threat of harm generally involves a perception of injury, physical or mental damage, act or instance of injury, or loss to a person or people.”

This module looks at what intimidation is and what behaviours it highlights. It provides opportunities for class discussion and pointers on how to get help if students identify with intimidation in their own lives.

We will explore

  • Understanding intimidation
  • Highlighting intimidating what behaviour looks like
  • Discussion on why intimidation happens
  • How does it feel to be intimidated?
