Keeping our mind and body healthy involves a variety of different factors. Eating well and making sure we have plenty of exercise and time for friendships are just a few of these.  This module looks at stress and the effect on the mind and body when it becomes difficult to cope. The process of stress management is named as one of the keys to a happy and successful life in modern society. Although life provides numerous demands that can prove difficult to handle, stress management provides a number of ways to manage anxiety and maintain our overall well-being

  • What is stress?
  • How does stress affect the mind and body?
  • How does stress impact on thoughts
  • The long term effects of unmanaged stress
  • How can we manage our personal care better?

Our programmes include a range of learning materials to support both teachers and students in the classroom. Content wise, each module is different but some components are common to all to provide assessment tools for teachers and familiar references for students.

We believe that some topics are approached more powerfully by bringing in animation. That is why some of the topics have videos to illustrate the learning points
