Module Overview
Originated by Prof. Rhiaan Oliver
Life skills are abilities for adaptive and positive behaviour that enable humans to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of life. The subject varies greatly depending on social norms and community expectations so it is helpful to develop specific skills that help young people grow into active and productive members of their communities. In this module we explore friendships as a life skill. We look at what it means to be a good friend and what it is to have a good friend. We work individually and in a group to practice listening, observing, and communicating.
