Personal skills are a combination of people skills, social skills, communication skills, character traits, attitudes, social intelligence and emotional intelligence. Developing these personal skills enable people to navigate their environment, work well with others, perform well, and achieve their goals with complementing hard skills.

This module looks why personal skills are important in life and how we can develop these skills.

We will explore

  • Why do we need personal skills?
  • Examples of when we need personal skills?
  • Role playing – social situations where effective personal skills are important
  • How can we achieve better outcomes for everyone?
  • Embedding personal skills

All modules are delivered to you via email through a downloadable link.

Our programmes include a range of learning materials to support both teachers and students in the classroom. Content wise, each module is different but some components are common to all to provide assessment tools for teachers and familiar references for students.
