Module Overview

Originated by: Dr Kiki Sidorou

The concept of self-confidence is commonly used as self-assurance in one’s personal judgment, ability, power, and so on. It is linked to positive mental and physical health. We increase our self-confidence from experiences of having mastered particular activities.

This module looks at how positive mental health is important when developing self-confidence. It explores how greater self-confidence can lead to growth and change.

We will explore

  • What is does self-confidence look like?
  • What personal characteristics demonstrate self-confidence?
  • How is self-confidence linked to physical and mental health?
  • How can we build self-confidence for personal growth?
  • Exploring different situations for change
