Our relationship with friends

Module Overview

Originated by Dr. Sue Barker

Relationships are a massive part of our lives and life would be very different without them. Of course sometimes relationships can be challenging, but in the long run they are one of the most important things in life, and yet also one of the easiest things to neglect. Good friendships can last a lifetime and there are many benefits from putting effort into creating them. In this module, we look at what makes friendships, how we can improve them and what affect friendship has on our health and wellbeing.

We will explore

  • Looking at friendships
  • What do positive friendships look like
  • What can go wrong in frienships?
  • Friendships and wellbeing
  • Creating positive friendships

  • Observation of thoughts worksheet
  • Wordsearch
  • Reflection worksheet
  • Teacher assessment
  • Supporting animation video

We believe that some topics are approached more powerfully by bringing in animation. That is why some of the topics have videos to illustrate the learning points
